Recently DLed Sacrifice and tried internet- to my surprise,

I have tried once before and it didn't, and now it does, which is quite exciting! I'd love to play this against my friends since it's such an awesome game, but the thing is that I am not really sure how it all works.

I've got 2 comps in my home and booted up and got into the lobby with both- one of them hosted a "skirmish" and I went into the skirmish lobby with the other... and there I got sort of stuck! Where are the games supposed to pop up?

Is there a patch I need, or some sort?

Ah! I got the manual patch, it enabled TCP/IP and stuff! Fantastic! Joined my own game and... man, haha!

What I would like to know is how does all this hosting actually work? Who's doing it? I thought all servers were taken down by Gamespy?

A die-hard fan known as the Doggienator is keeping it up. Lol. Yeah, TCP/IP always works..it's just that I re-installed it, and now my Manual_patch attempt is all going wrong, and now I can't even do THAT. Lame, dude...
