Hi. I recently tried to get this game going with a friend of mine so we could play multiplayer. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow me to host games. I've forwarded and triggered all the ports that I was told by the bot in the chat lobby, but that didn't work. I also tried opening that DMZ thing, and it didn't work either. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh and by the way, You should try playin on TCP/IP...of course, you and the person you want to play will have to tell each other your IP. Type the "MyIP" command or whatever it is..."!MyIP"? if you don't know it.

Re: Hosting Games
Were you the only one who tried hosting the games spear? You may have configured your ports correctly, but if your friend didn't, he or she can't join your game.

Re: Hosting Games
Perhaps you should reinstall Sac and apply the Manual Patch again.

Re: Hosting Games
Sooo..no other patches, just the manual patching one. Right. Ok then. Thanks
EDIT: I've put the WinRar File of Manual_Patching in my main sacrifice folder, because it wouldn't extract from WinRar. But it won't Extract all the files inside my main sacrifice folder either :/ What could be the problem?

Re: Hosting Games
You extract all the files inside Manual Patching to your main sac folder, not try to extract Manual Patching itself. Say yes to all if your computer asks to overwrite anything.

Re: Hosting Games
After you extract all those files pictured to your main sac folder, are you running SacPro (located in that main sac folder)? It looks like your trying the old way to run Sac: Sacrifice.exe

Port Forwarding can be tediously long to explain, so to make the topic simpler I want you to join us on IRC (chat program that connects to the lobbies in Sacrifice without the use of the game) this way I can go through troubleshooting the problem step by step.
1) unzip/extract the folder anywhere you like
2) open mirc.exe
3) box will appear, wait for continue to un-grey and click it (DO NOT REGISTER)
4) it will auto take you into skirmish and simply look for me (Dog)
Hope to see you soon.

I don't either but it's ok. First off forget about winrar or any 3rd party programs. Second delete those files you see in Sacrifice that will be overwritten. (Vista has issues copying and extracting and file dragging)
To extract...
I want you to right click the Manual_Patching.zip file -> Explore. Use Windows' extraction or drag the files to your sacrifice folder now. This should in theory solve your issue. Also when trying to connect online, use SacPro.exe it will automatically start sacrifice too. If you keep having the same problem then find me on IRC.

Re: Hosting Games
There's been numerous new players who have Vista and have had the same problem. The important thing is to not have a third party program to open/extract the Manual Patch file, Vista doesn't like them.
