New Way to Host Games? Empty New Way to Host Games?

I've been working on this for a while, some of you remember that old file that allowed players with GameSpy Arcade to join Skirmish with the use of an icon. No not the 'gspyder' link.

This file was meant to be used so that players could see and join games regardless of router configuration. Now of course atleast port 2302 forwarded to be able to host. So this makes the rest of the necessary ports useless. Back then, the file was just made as a test which it didn't quite work for matchmaking.

Now I was able to implement full functional player matchmaking to work with the GameSpy Arcade software.

For those of you who have played games using GameSpy Arcade's game creating and joining functions, it's so far the same for Sacrifice as shown on the screen below:

    [Installation]
You will need GameSpy Arcade software and also make an account. Once that's done you can download the add-on here.

Please read the Read Me text file within the zip for instructions on how to install.

This is a great way to host games; there's pretty much no problems joining, and you can get a game going without even having to boot sac up.

Right now it'll work as a back-up, since just moving straight there would be a major hassle. If we could somehow all adapt to it slowly I think it'll be very efficient. Thanks Dog!

If i choose the newly added Sacrifice in the games bar I end up nowhere.
    Not in any lobbies.

Edit: And it doesn't work. Tried with DJ today -> no success.

I'm going to assume Moon's having the same problem I had Dog, with the blank screen everytime I tried going on. You remote-assisted me there.

After both clicks "ready" and host launches the game, it starts but then it crashes. Did you get it to start, Dog?

You need atleast port 2302 or 6073 UDP open to host properly. Anyone can create a host room in GS but only if those ports are open will the player be able to host in sac.
