Welcome those of you new to the game! I believe it is time for a Sacrifice Tournament! It will be hosted on May 23, 2009 (Saturday) in the Tournament lobby. In a way to welcome the new players I think they should participate with players closer to their skills.
- New Players: You must have played the game 2 years or less to participate in the novice tournament.
- Experienced Players: You must have played the game 1 year or more to participate in the experienced tournament.
You may use this format on email...

If you wish to participate please email ajk1121@hotmail.com with your most commonly used nickname and the nick you wish to use for the tournament and also the tournament you wish to participate in. Put Sac Tourney as your subject line just so i'm clear what the email is about.
The Rules
Type of Tournament: Beginner's 1v1 Slaughter
- Players that have a copy of sacrifice with a counterfeit/cracked CD-Key will be able to participate as well.
- If you are caught using different names to participate multiple times you will be disqualified. Please keep it real and honest!
- Losses - Cheating or dropping from a game (unless everyone drops) will count as a loss.
- Wins - Slaughter 66 of your opponent's creatures or desecrate the opposing wizard's Altar.
Note*** Desecrating your opponent's altar will only add 5 more kills to your current total kills.
Winners are decided by the amount of total kills not desecration!
Settings
For the most part, new maps will be created for the Tourney, courtesy of Dog. One, perhaps two, standard maps will be randomly chosen the day of the competition.
Players will use random for their gods, except for one map, fixed at custom.
The Winners
There will be a 1st placement for both the novice and experienced tournaments depending on how many overall kills you accomplish.
First place for novice will receive a genuine copy of Sacrifice from GOG.com with all of their awesome extra downloads and have their desired name with a rank of "1337" to go with that copy.
First place for experienced will have their name nominated on the website and on the sacrifice lobbies.
Thank you for reading this post.
Have fun training everyone and best of luck on the tournament!
